About me

Alongside my own studio work I have been working for more than 15 years as a mastering and mixdown engineer for Calyx Mastering, Berlin. My mixing and mastering suite features relevant high end analog and digital tools.

With my own projects “Bridge and Tunnel” and “White Daughter” I have released four albums. Our music has been used for advertising (Vodafone) as well as for Soundtracks (“Knallhart” by director Detlef Buck).

Press quotes on production

“Best (largely) instrumental album of the year” – Times London on Bridge and Tunnels “Without Ghosts”.
“Sounds like how Massive Attack might have turned out if they’d been brought up by Norwegian death metal” (Time out London on on Bridge and Tunnels “The Great Outdoors”
“They’re like Black Sabbath remixed by Aphex Twin” (Times London on Bridge and Tunnels “The Great Outdoors”)
“A thrilling listening experience” 8 out of 10 – NME on Appliances “Are you earthed album”.
“Pensive and foreboding, Ruder Forms Survive benefits from a thick, bottom-heavy production that manages to preserve a dark atmosphere as well as a large dynamic range” – EQ Magazine on Capricorns second album.
“These tracks would serve as an excellent alternative soundtrack to a certain kind of British road movie” – The Quietus on Roman Roads IV-XI by Land Observations.
